Hermosa Beach is an affluent oceanfront suburb in Los Angeles County, California with a population hovering around 20,000. Hermosa Beach is bordered by Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach. You will need to drive into L.A. but, for those who love retail therapy, it will be well worth the trip. This upscale shopping area in Beverly Hills is full high end shops, boutiques and stores that will make even the most seasoned shopper weak in the knees. You can find your favorite spots from movies and TV or you may even run into a celebrity. What fun!
Palos Verdes is the place to be if shopping is less your thing and nature and the outdoors are more up your alley. In this town, you will find hiking trails, parks, surf spots and more making it the ideal little town for an athlete or fitness enthusiast. If you are looking for a way to enjoy this area’s sunny and beautiful weather then you will be in heaven in Palos Verdes. Within the town, you will find the South Coast Botanic Garden, which is an 87 acre facility with 150,000 landscape plants. You can wander for hours and never get bored.
